WinAudit :: Regional Settings
|
This section shows computer specific settings that are typically associated with a particular region or
culture such as time zone or language. The Windows® operating system has several such settings and
an ad hoc list is presented. Ommission of a particular setting does not negate its importance.
Some data may be shown in the characters of the language for which it is intended. For languages that employ
complex writing scripts, such as Thai, use the unicode version (WinAuditu.exe) and choose a font
that is appropriate to the language.
Item
The type of regional setting. One of locale, number, currency, date or time.
Name
The name of the setting. For example, Country or Measurement System. The Language item is the
user configurable setting found in Control Panel. To see the operating system's installation language
refer to the Operating System section.
Setting
The value, for example, Country may be United Kingdom or the Measurement System may be
Metric.
